A Special Day in Rome with Yolk: Beads, Smiles and Big Dreams

At 6 AM, backpacks on and sleepy eyes, the LIL Milan team left Milan for a very special day in Rome – one filled with purpose, play, and plenty of pearls (the beaded kind!).

Our destination: the summer camp hosted by Yolk, a non-profit committed to giving children from challenging backgrounds the tools and opportunities they deserve. LIL Milan proudly supports this mission by donating 10% of all LIL Brick sales to the organization.

Once we arrived in Rome, we headed straight to the camp, where a group of energetic, curious kids welcomed us with open arms. Together, we hosted a creative workshop: using colorful threads and beads, the children designed their own keychains and jewelry, bringing their wildest imaginations to life.

It was a beautiful, emotional experience. The kids had a blast, and many discovered a brand-new hobby — a few even said they dream of becoming jewelry designers one day. For our team, too, it was a moment of connection, reflection, and renewed passion for what we do.
